Everything looks easy when you watch someone else do it.

You need trial and error, a good eye and memory. Or just watch a playthrough on YouTube.

Ethan (playing a different game): “I need you to beat Mike Tyson for me!”

On whom did Ethan rely to beat his video game bosses before he met Emily? I don’t think we’ve ever met (or heard of a mention of) Phoebe’s grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins

Oh dear god, I so resemble this. I’ve had to do this for hubby so many times over the years, especially in all the Diablo iterations.

An unusual comic strip that doesn’t feature either of the title characters.

I love their dynamic. And seeing more of Phoebe’s parents in general as Dana did a very good job making a more modern set of parents who feel like actual people.

The one thing that I wish Dana might have put a little more attention into was giving Phoebe a more supportive and aware family and more tender and teaching moments with Phoebe.

Phoebe’s father is simply a video game addict and Phoebe just comes and goes as she pleases.

if it were not for Marigold I think she could have a very sad life.

Do you think it’s possible that Marigold doesn’t actually exist and is simply an illusion that Phoebe has made up to fill in that gap that her family should have instead been more a part of.

It’s even possible that Phoebe’s parents simply play along with Phoebe’s imaginary friends and let her think they are real.

I strongly doubt that everyone would bother putting in the effort of pretending that Marigold was real if she were not.

But has anyone else sensed a certain neglect in Phoebe’s environment?.

I think the parents should be slightly more aware and concerned about Phoebe’s affairs.

In real life a child like Phoebe could be at risk in many ways.

But again she has Marigold (if she is real).

psychologically Marigold isn’t too much older in her mind than Phoebe.

Not sure if that was a cop out or praise to the better half of a symbiotic relationship. ;)

I’ve said it before and I say it again: Phoebe has the coolest parents.
