Looks like Roscoe has been reading up on how Snoopy built his empire.

Dave Barry told about his two dogs. He (Dave) would open the back door for them and they’d bark at the door on the screened-in back porch until he’d open it for them.

A hurricane (Gloria?) came through and blew down all of the screens on the porch, just leaving the timbers that held them in place. He opened the back door and…

The dogs stood at the now-empty screen door and barked until he opened it.

I like Roscoe’s expressions. His eyes are always looking for something.

Be CAREFUL what ya WISH for……..

It might be a surprise when it become apparent it was also a flea collar. He’ll miss the soothing jingle of the metal tags as well. (no chips for Rosco)

The times when my dog got out, she’d go visit the neighbors. They’d call me and I’d go pick her up.

Has anyone ever taken Roscoe on a walk before? It looks like he will roll around or something for a while, feel lonely, and go home. I hope he isn’t scolded.

Old habits die hard. Roscoe misses Earl, when he didn’t think he would.

I used to walk LOTS of dogs! I could EASILY fit in a sweet baby boy like Roscoe!:’(

Dog catcher will come and take you, but not for a walk.

I’m sure it is for the convenience of the story line, but would Earl be coming to look for him by now? Just asking/wondering.

Why have a dog and neglect it? Walks are important!!
