They’re pretty likely to end up with lower quality chow (and that’s NOT a good thing) because of inflation driving up the cost of food.

Whereʻs the trumpster?

I live in New York State and recently took a driving trip to the Midwest. What surprised me most was that aside from real estate, things were no more expensive or cheaper in New York. In ruby red Indiana, gas prices were nearly a dollar per gallon higher. $4.43 compared to $3.45 in New York. Of course, I found cheaper in IN and more expensive in NY, but the gap is pretty wide.

Always surprised more homeless/destitute folk don’t take advantage of the accommodation provided in jail. Living in a cell has got to be better than freezing in a cardboard box under a bridge.

At least you’re not gabbing on your cell phone.

I’d rather worry about the cost of things, than be in prison any day of the week.

A committee reviewed the menu at the local jail and were not pleased..they showed stacks of sandwiches. Oy

Hey Jeff, have you read a newspaper recently? There are things that have happened OTHER than inflation.: Indictments, Supreme Court decisions, mass shootings by 15 year olds, denial of paying for one’s girlfriend’s abortion, Russia launching V-1 “buzz bombs” at Ukraine …

So have two panels: one with Hitler standing by a V-1 launch rail the other with Putin standing along a similar device for his drones (the flying kind, not his followers). The first panel caption, “This will bring Great Britain to its knees.” the second caption, “This will bring Ukraine to its knees.”
