I’d like a dish of Orange shernit! I got my second booster AND my flu shot today. Both in my left arm. The young man ( he looked about 16) who gave it to me was the best! I actually couldn’t feel a thing. And because he was so gentle. My arm doesn’t hurt at all!

Sherbit…not shernit! LOL

PRO-LIFE DAY OF SILENT SOLIDARITY

Last night, for the first time ever, I heard Annie meow! Before this, all she’s ever done is hiss at me, which she does every time I get too close to her. But, I was dishing up canned cat food for everyone last night (well, I always opt out and don’t serve any up for myself! Lol!) and Annie came out in the kitchen and told me in “meow” to hurry up. Before this, she always waited under the coffee table in the living room for me to bring her food to her. Now she’s starting to come out in the kitchen to watch me dish up the food in the individual bowls. But then when I walk by on my way back to the living room, she hisses at me and runs back under her table where she hisses again as I place her bowl in front of her. I just shrug off her hisses, but hearing her meow was a treat! I hope someday I can hear her purr.

We’re having a pumpkin decorating contest at work. Here’s my entry. I’ll post other entries later. We still need to get the manager to approve a budget for prizes for at least first and second place. There are only 3 entries so far, but I think at least 3 more still working on their entries.

Happy Simchat Torah to all my Jewish friends.

Our little homemade ice cream shop is shutting down for the season. I have 7 pints of October Sky (strong anise/licorice flavor with little gummy stars) and their last 2 peppermint stuffed in my freezer. None of my friends like licorice so I don’t have to share.

Mmmm….shrimp with orange sherbet for dessert actually sounds yummy.

Yes, you mention a mop, but you don’t say who you two masterminds are actually going to con into doing the mopping up. That I want to see.

Who’s supplying the mop and who operates it? Annie I’ll wager.

Not crazy about shrimp, but I do like orange sherbet. Of course, my favorite ice cream is Rocky Road, with Neapolitan being my second favorite. On another note, saw a woolly bear caterpillar and a wren while out walking today.
