My son has been playing hockey for 7 years starting at age 6. Every Friday at the rink they have Family skate. All the kids of certain ages pack together, all skating levels. He discovered that having the ability to skate and helping out girls gets him lots of phone numbers and make friends.

Hey, if they didn’t like the girls at least a little, they probably have just let them fall.

Or, the boys were raised right. At least that’s how my dad raised me. I still open or hold the door for people. I try to be courteous and kind.
