LED wall on your house. Change the graphics from an animated Santa’s Sleigh to Jack-o-lanterns with a black cat slinking through the frame. Not to mention, full movies! The HOA won’t love it.
I have a neighbor who, at age 60 a few years ago, was taking down the Christmas lights with his son, fell, and died. Holy cow. We got a flier for a business that would put your lights up for you and for the first time we’re considering it.
Jef, this really hit home with me. Last year, I fell off my ladder while hanging lights and ended up in the emergency room. I’m just getting too old, and my family won’t let me hang lights anymore. My son will do do honors this year.

In south Texas, some families enjoy having lights up all year round. An invention that allowed programming color changes would be quite popular.
