One brain cell probably weighs 1/1,000,000th of an gram. Therefore, losing losing a thousand brain cells works out to be 1,000/1,000,000 gram or 1/1,000th of a gram or .000353 ounces. Most scales won’t show that change. Good luck pig.
Brain cells are mostly very long lasting compared to many in the body like epidermal cells which turn over very frequently. And the about 10% brain cells that do regularly die are of course quickly replaced. The idea that we naturally lose brain cells as we age is mostly a myth (albeit it may differ in cases of neurodegenerative disease)
