If the second dog bowl looks like it is 4 to 5 times bigger than Louie’s stomach, do you even need to do a sloppy pour? There will probably be lots left over in the bowl after Louie is finished for the mice to dive into.
The way Nate is pouring, the deck will be covered with kibbles — enough not only for the mice but every seagull within a 50 mile radius. (Well, that "could* be a slight exaggeration — lol.)

I actually don’t poor the kibble from the back, we have it in a container with a scoop. Much easier.
