Panel three would seem to resolve the ongoing debate about whether this strip, with all its anachronisms, actually takes place in the future, or whether it really is set in prehistoric times. On the other hand, if it does takes place in prehistoric times:

(a) How does she know that she lives in prehistoric times?

(b) How does she know how to answer a telephone?

The debate goes on.
