Learning from your own kid sounds like it doesn’t always work out.

(Years later) Hey, whataya gonna do, nice college boy, eh? Didn’t want to get mixed up in the Family business, huh? What do you think this is, computer animation, where you play with a stylus and type in a few keys? You’ve gotta get up close like this to the art board and bada-bing — you get ink all over your nice Ivy League suit. C’mere…

Learning a new skill, huh? How about learning how not to be a loser?

Actually, if you have a repair guide and the proper tools, fixing a car isn’t that complicated unless you’re talking about rebuilding a motor. Unless you have the know how, that should be left to the pros.

    Oh dad… jokes

I’m REALLY happy Steenz fixed Dean’s Dad’s Design. It was one of my only ongoing pet peeves with the strips, that she just kinda slapped a mustache on dean for that one , especially since her character design is normally fantastic. The glasses are simple, but they fix it, making him look like dean but older (which fits and was likely the intention ) instead of a giant dean who put on a fake mustache to masquerade as an adult.
