From what I can tell, old Cosmo lives quite well on 3 out of 7 days of living. If he got 7 out of 7 days of living, boy would he be huge.

What has he been doing to survive the other 4 days a week until now?

He seems to have been able to get plenty enough to eat.

If you want to earn a livable wage, get out of the newspaper business!

Those other 4 don’t seem to be doing you much harm though. Try not to take all 4 in a row and you will hardly even notice, might even give you a nice break.

Well, Shoe only gets about three days worth of work out of Cosmo each week, so he shouldn’t be complaining.
