Was doing research on ancestrydotcom yesterday and found out that my great-great grandfather was named Baldomero. Wow! I had never heard of that name until I started reading this strip.

I have friends (Caucasian) who have tacos for thanksgiving

The first Thanksgiving in North America was in St. Augustine, held by the Spanish.

We almost made gumbo today. We just found frozen okra at our local store (where we moved to 18 months ago, most people don’t know what okra is, and we couldn’t find any frozen or canned!) and we were so excited!

We switched it up one year and had pizza, spaghetti, and garlic bread.

Is Tia Carmen always bald on top or am I just now noticing?
