    Hi Vagabonds

December 7, 1941, the date that has lived and always will “Live in Imfamy”

I did not oversleep this morning. Saw 43 for a temp, rainy day high of 48.

I don’t believe the P.O. Will be open but I’ll head out for the Quick Stop just the same.

May the Lord bless you and keep you.

    Good afternoon, Vagabonds.

We got the other desk this morning, a day early and at a fairly early hour. So we went ahead and put it together. It only took a little over 3 hours and it looks great. Michael has a lot more space to spread out now. And he has two storage/file drawers for his “stuff”, rather than one little fabric pull-out bin. We’re done with the construction projects now.

Yesterday we went to the audiologist and got my hearing aids back from the repairs (done in New Jersey) and Michael’s adjusted so that they don’t blast him across the room every time one of the cats meow. It’s been a while since I’ve had them so it will take getting used to again. But the best part is that we can now connect them to the TV sound again and don’t have to adjust the volume every time the furnace/AC turns on or off.

I’ve been sampling some old HGTV “repair and flip” type shows the last few days. Some of them can be interesting, but I ran across one yesterday where the main character is an arrogant idiot. The way he treats his family, employees and contractors, he’s not going to build the “empire” he is after. After 40 years in construction, I find these types of shows kinda fun once in a while.

Our forecast is for 58 and it’s 56 at the moment, but that changes as the dark clouds move in and out. They are moving fast, too.

Everyone have a safe and blessed day, or at least what’s left of it.
