Miserable time change! Another bit of lousy programming!

Back in the 90s I got my first VCR to tape Doctor Who, which was almost exclusively available in the U.S. during Public Television fund drives. It was a lot better than staying up until midnight to watch the show. Eventually, it got to be that recording the show satisfied my need and I did not actually have to watch it. :)

2001 and Saturday Night Live had already long jumped the shark.

Ahh, TV … supposed to be fun, but far too often, all-consuming. AACK. Bring back the simpler times.

HI, MOM. Happy Sunday, z"Cathy" Clan.

I agree with Cathy’s sentiment here but certainly not her practice. I refuse to allow a TV schedule to determine my schedule – which works out fine since I don’t watch much TV in the first place – nor do I watch streamed shows. If I ever find evenings with nothing to do I just might subscribe to a streaming service. Until then I have lots to do and no time for TV – especially if it just might take time away from reading a good book.

The weekend is over. I hope everyone enjoyed it – even if you are watching the Oscar’s tonight. (Note I can hear the Oscar program as my wife is watching it upstairs as I read the comics here in the basement)

How about taping so you can FF through the commercials? Although Cathy’s answer was funnier.
