Ugh, can you believe he took you seriously?? What a jerk. (◔_◔) I will admit that I invited an ex to our wedding, but that was because we all worked together and were friends (met my husband at work). Unlike Cathy, my ex declined, which was probably a good decision.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Tuesday! Have a great day, all!
I started a 30-year-long friendship with a woman after two mildly infatuated dates. Our friendship survived multiple marriages and lovers. Unfortunately, it couldn’t survive motherhood. :)
Yes – he wants you to see that he is happy (and maybe rub it in your face). Don’t go Cathy or you will be in a worse mess than you are now (if that is even possible).
Rain today – and we need it so it is good. Spent yesterday at the theatre in my home town learning how to load movies onto our projector. We open Friday, at long last, with “Barbie”. It will be great showing first run movies in the theatre for the first time in about 15 years. We are all quite excited. Of course we will have to not show movies at the end of September for the live production of “Frozen Jr.”. Going to be a busy month.I hope your day is a little more relaxed than mine is.
When I got married almost 35 years ago, I didn’t invite any of my exes to the wedding and none have ever invited me to theirs — which is just as well because I wouldn’t have gone anyhow. Exes are exes for a reason. It’s better to live in the present, look forward to the future, and leave your past behind you where it firmly belongs because rarely does anything good ever happen when you go back and dredge up all that old history with them again.

I married one of my ex-boyfriends — that is, I officiated at his wedding. He’s a great guy, and his wife was a MUCH better match for him.
