The causes of current events can logically be traced back to their sources, yet we seem unable to discern the present sources of future events because we do not look at the places that matter.
It appears in retrospect that Democrats voted on Abortion (‘reproductive rights’), Voting Access, and Jan 6. Republicans voted on Inflation, Crime, and the Border ‘Crisis’. So, in effect, two different elections were held simultaneously, and, as one might expect, the resultant dead heat reflects it.
