My mom used to say, “The problem with roast turkey is that you get 23 pounds of leftover from an 18-pound bird.” I agree completely. Fortunately last Thursday, I sent home everything with my stepdaughter for her 2 teen-aged boys.
And just about the time all the Thanksgiving leftovers are consumed, the entire process will be done all over again at Christmas. We’re doing non-traditional for Christmas, just haven’t decided what yet.
