Couldn’t read music or play an instrument but I could sing
I did perform in public a few times on jam nights with a live band
Was nice to know at least a few people liked my performance, I really enjoyed the female attention
I’m given to understand now you just need to have something get some attention on TikTok.
I play simply for my own enjoyment, no pressure.
I prefer the New York City attitude to the LA bullcrap

Be happy with serenading the dog, or cat. Everything else is icing. A very thin layer of it at that.
I learned to play trumpet in 6th grade band, continued thru high school, played in church up into my 40’s, but then started having hearing problems. Haven’t picked up my trumpet in over a year now…sigh.
