She seemed unflustered however, in her response. “Of course. Psychology doesn’t conform to physical science. But this is not really psychology at all. This is multi-verse and brane theories, really. In this case, you actually DO exist in alternate realities, because probability cannot be limited to a single outcome, except by experience. Your life has a beginning point, and an end point, like the string of a musical instrument. Both points are fixed. But they are not the same in every iteration of your being. Taken to the extreme, every being is an iteration of your own. For the most part, there is little known interaction between these strings that represent your life. Within your own fixed end point, there is also variability. Your existence moves and resonates, so that its course is not one, but many, and shared. And neighboring strings, if they possess a harmonic frequency, can interact directly, affecting your existence and your awareness, through harmonic resonance.”
The interesting point here, being that we have achieved a state of such safety and security, that children actually do have days where they do not know fear or any existential dread. Such fear and dread have always been a normal part of existence. This lack of fear has created a certain ability within our own numbers, to act without thinking, regardless of consequences. And this has brought new fears, from within, though the threats from without have been greatly diminished.
