Several years ago in the Pickles comic strip, Earl used fruit cake to fill a pothole.

I really don’t like how fruitcake gets such a bad rap- I love it- but this is FUNNY!

Must be rampaging through Claxton, GA. Known for fruitcakes and the Rattlesnake Roundup.

The only other surviving building is the Lego factory.

The hardest baked item (well, bricks are baked, but I mean supposedly edible items) that I’ve encountered is hardtack. I found a recipe and made some out of curiosity. You would literally break your teeth on it if you didn’t soften it in some hot liquid first.

Never made fruitcake.

Not all fruit cakes are bad. I love the one I buy every year.

I feel sorry for all the people who have apparently somehow missed the bliss of eating a delicious, moist, good quality fruitcake. So sad. :(

Those smokestacks are for the smelting process necessary in making fruitcakes.
