Having spoken to many mushers, the sled dogs have two modes of operation: dog mode and run mode. In run mode, all they want to do is run. In dog mode, they just stand around just being dogs. You know, stopping at trees, sniffing each other’s butts, etc. The secret to mushing is to get the dogs in the right mode at the right time.

Something tells me that Paul is gonna put off shoveling the front walk even after they get the groceries put away.

Put the groceries back in the car for a minute and carry your little dog in. Just where was that sweet little dog while the humans were buying groceries? He should be at home greeting them, not plowing a way through the snow.

Years ago I had a pack of Huskies and they just loved the snow and snow storms …… They could come in the house anytime (doggy door) but generally when I got home from plowing, I’d come through the gate and all I’d see were heads popping up from snow mounds ….. pretty funny …….. great memories …… :)

My dog pulls like a sled dog thats what we call her) every time she goes for a walk and there is no snow.

“After” is the wrong time.

Jill should remind him that he wanted that snow blower soooooo bad so he should get out there and clear the walk.
