I was in a restaurant with a bar, picking up food. A guy I knew, who was a ‘regular’ at several bars handed his quick pick ticket to the bartender. The bartender laughed and gave it back and said he had to take it to the lottery office to cash. (The max lottery retailers can pay out is $600!) He put the ticket in his shirt pocket. I always wondered how much he won, and if he remembered the ticket was there (presuming he didn’t get rolled by another ‘regular!’)

Just wait till the King collects on the “Woo Hoo” tax. The King can’t let all that good money go to waste now could he?

I am thinking since Bung drinks so much the bartender knows he will find a lost lottery ticket and win $5000.00

Funnier if you remember beer cost five or ten cents 90 years ago…
WC Fields character (I forget what movie) to bartender: “Was I in here last night, and did I spend $20?”
Bartender: “yes.”
Fields: “thank god. I thought I lost it.”

I Don’t think that’s a bartender, it looks like just another customer, so I really don’t get it

Indeed. A fool and his money are soon parted.

I won the lottery once. I spent half of it on beer, liquor and women. The other half I wasted.

Hey, barkeep, is it really “winning” when he just paid off $5000 of his tab? Granted, it’s likely the only way you could get paid, but still…
