Agnes misses the idea of the season of “giving”. She needs to think about what she is going to GIVE to Trout and Grandma. Today is the third Sunday of Advent. It’s a special day to express joy as we light the third candle, which is pink.
I am happy to say I am in a position where there is nothing I need and nothing more that I want.
I did splurge the other day. I was returning from vacation, passing through Vienna, and I filled two shopping bags with Sacher tortes and chocolates. I really didn’t need all that.

“Gifts that I want”, “what to buy me , “make me a card”; At least she’s got the holiday spirit thing going for her.

Today’s strip is an uncomfortable reminder of how many people struggle financially and how blessed I am in comparison.
