I was almost 16 before I saw color TV. We had 2 TVs…one for picture and one for sound…..

“Roman Holiday” It was filmed on location in Rome, but it’s in b&w. It won an OSCAR.

I saw the first TV, 5" screen and all programs were B&W‼️ 3 channels, no remote, and less commercials‼️‼️‼️ signed off @ midnight with the Star Spangled Banner, a flag waving, then it went into a test pattern!

    Good night Chet‼️☺️

Perry Mason had exactly one episode out of 271 that was in color. I always wondered why they only made the one instead of the entire last season.

Judging by the current number of likes on this strip, it states the poor state Hollyweird’s version of what constitutes entertainment today. I recently discovered Buzzr on my TV and rediscovered the pure entertainment value in those old game shows.

Because of finances… I had an antenna. A few years ago – it fell. I thought of all the shows that were current. I also thought of the up-coming Fall Season shows. I thought putting the antenna back up wasn’t worth it. I haven’t seen any reason… yet… to do it either.

My tv is previous gen. The Roku and apps are well worth having my previous stolen in a break-in. But even Babylon 5 is no better in 4k.
