    Whaddya want, Stantis?

    You want anti-trust legislation to be passed and enforced?

    You want regulations?

    You want wealthy individuals and patriotic multinational corporations to pay taxes?

    OMG!

    .

    For the last year, all Republicans have been p!ssing and moaning about inflation and how it’s all Biden’s fault.

    And now, you’re complaining about the only tool the government has to address inflation, no matter how crude that tool is.

    .

    What, exactly, do you suggest?

    Happy Pledge of Allegiance Day, for those hear that do not inow it, it goes as follows;

    “I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

    Not wrong, in the present situation. Fed’s job is to slow an overheated economy, with the tools it has. We don’t complain (most of us) when the economy is humming along with ample liquidity. That’s always due to our own genius…

    So instead, we should just give control of the economy to the richest people, who are driven entirely by greed, and who would bottle the air and make you buy it to breathe if they could figure out how to do that?

    Notwithstanding all the economic philosophy above, I’ll just say that every time the Fed raises the interest rates, I have to pay bigger monthly payments on my mortgage. So, tell me how that helps me any seeing as how my sole income is Social Security.
