It doesn’t look as if the Dear’s didn’t miss Fred. It must have been a very short time that Fred thought he was lost. Glad he found his way back. We can’t have a lost Fred.
Silly Fred, to go off after goodness knows what, and then have to navigate his way back. Luckily the Dears don’t walk really fast. Might I recommend a leash?

Dogs have an excellent sense of smell and can find a person based on scent alone. I’m sure the Dears have a scent that is uniquely their own..
