Fritzi’s downside is her treatment of Nancy, sometimes treating her like an indentured servant.

Now there’s a deep thought to really reflect on your life’s meaning! A dirty spot in the kitchen. For me I haven’t yet come to that point in life yet!

    Coinkydink?

We overhear Fritzi’s thoughts about being distracted by trivial matters. And then we see her act out her own distractedness.

Virginia Woolf, in one of the earliest experiments with the"stream of consciousness" style in writing, has someone distracted by “a mark on the wall” and their own musings about what it is or could mean. And yes, once investigated, it turns out to be a very trivial thing.

So is Olivia Jaimes a reincarnation of Virginia Woolf?

It reads as though Fritzi was actually looking for a distraction. Nancy certainly takes after her aunt.

Goodness, Fritzi is out of drawing. I expect better from O.J.

The last panel gives me a real “lets-a go” vibe for some reason. And I just noticed she’s wearing red and brown. Hmm…
