Instead of buying expensive coffee make your own and put the savings into an account then when you have enough invest it. Now you say, boy are you stupid, how much can that be? Well the average is $1800 a year. I make coffee for about 25 cents a cup. Now think if you applied this to other things. Last time I got a 1/4 pound cheeseburger with large fries and soda was $13. I can make my own for around $4 or $5 dollars. I had a steak dinner last night cost me a whole $7.50. It can be done.
I am not a spender at all. I saved for retirement and am comfortable set for the rest of my life. My neighbous on the other hand, bought new homes, a boat, a travel trailer, motorcycles, off-road four wheel vehicles, swimming pools…and will be paying them off for the rest of their lives…if they don’t lose their jobs. The street I live on is known as the “new snob hill”. Not because of me. I can do without expensive things.

Retirement is easy…..if you are rich.
