At least Abby has shown up for her court appearance. I wonder if the cop who gave her the ticket in the first place is showing up at the court as well, as usually, if they don’t show up to testify as well (which is like 99% of the time here), the case is dismissed…

The judge is not actually thinking “Another person…” But GoComics won’t let her actually thoughts appear in a print.

I went to traffic court once. A friend could lose his license and I was his ride. I feel for the judges, the car rap they hear is beyond belief. Woman backs into a pole with RV and claims she didn’t know it! Judge went ballistic. “Ma’am, do you think I’m STUPID!” Oh god; and my friend’s case hadn’t come up yet. He got a fine which was not too bad.

I do Traffic Court in the surrounding counties as a side gig to my main Lawyer job…I speak with the AD’s handling traffic court before the date & 95% of my cases get plead down or dismissed. I do NOT handle DUI’s……

Why did Abby immediately start mad? Wouldn’t a little politeness be in order?

Yup. This was doomed to fail even before she stepped into the room.
