Winter has really set in…..9 new inches on top of the 12 already on the ground. Had to shovel the driveway twice. Snow doesn’t get to me but the cold and wind does. Right now -2 and supposed to get to -15.
“Alice, it’s time to come in.” OH how those words bring back a time, in my life and in the world, when little folk could and would go outside and have a life of their own with their friends, explore, learn, imagine, and then go to the comfort and safety (ideally but not always) of their homes. Six little words and how hugely evocative!
