IF you really want to do radios skip the transistors and go back to tubes. Then you can really tinker and have a good time. If you want to keep it simple think about crystal.

Len does actually strike me as the sort who’d be a radio enthusiast. Or at least a wanna-be radio enthusiast.

Trust me, there are lots of interesting vintage radios on eBay.

This strip is the absolute truth! Unfortunately, you can say the same thing about old cars…..!
