    Never to do what?

    If he’s found not guilty, then he didn’t legally do anything illegal before.

    If they want him to promise to never do it again, does that mean that they would like him to not be not guilty sometime in the future?

    Isn’t this what many companies do? Pay a large judgment but admit no guilt as a condition.
