This is the reason why I pull over and stop the car when receiving a message. Sometimes I ignore that little texting sound that comes from the phone. Safety first.
Had a white wing dove fly into the sliding door. The sound of the strike was loud enough I thought for a moment someone had thrown a brick through the door. It hit hard enough the impact was fatal. You could see a perfect outline on the glass, including beak and eyes.

Yep never text or using phone and drive or you’ll be sent to jail, that is the law we Brits had made after so many deaths on the roads.

Wild Birds Unlimited sells nearly invisible decals for windows that birds can see. They help keep the birds from hitting the window.

Was it a text or a “tweet”?

Instead of birds getting a fine, they’ll get hit by a window.

I know “mourning” is correct but I am reminded that “humour” and “colour” are used in England so can’t help but wonder where the bird was named.

at this point don’t do texting and ANYTHING BESIDES THAT. I saw kids “kissing poles” while texting.

Garfield’s right! I read about a teen in a Cessna 150 who was texting while flying and that was his last flight.

They should give cellphones to all endangered animals. Will be easier to meet others of their species and save themselves.

A dove having a phone and texting? And I thought it weird for a cat to have a phone.
