So thin, you can cut it with a butter knife.
Well, that was anti-climatic, Garfield.
Thin is good, right?!?
Bad introduction. Already lost your audience.
calling them ❝adventures❞ is a bit of a stretch
thinner than a sheet of paper
my cousin’s oldest girl dated a boy like him in high school, briefly. we called him white bread, because he was just that exciting. nice kid though.
Could it be that John doesn’t have a nose?
They just removed Garfield’s arm from the last panel, same pose. It even looks weird, like it’s missing something – the arm.
Only two heads, with different expressions.
Jon’s even worse. His eyes change. That’s it.
Living with Garfield should earn Jon a Medal!
I think you mean non existent.
I prefer Roscoe “Fatty” Arbuckle to Jon Arbuckle. Jon Arbuckle is a supporting player to his cat Garfield and his former roommate’s dog Odie.
jon do his own stunts!
Jon probably doesn’t have rivals so his adventures are mainly against that evil Christmas tree that always gives trouble when decorating it.
That’s why the comic is called “Garfield” . . . because all cats have amazing adventures! Just ask them!
Thin? Try darn near invisible!
Not much of a story to tell.
Jon looks excited for the movie.
Garfield, you need to inject some life into his life.
Just wait for it the adventure to start or episode with Jon Arbucle in it
This is starting off on a rough note
Adventures? More like ‘misadventures’.
44+ years of thin, and counting. But substantially more plot than Heathcliff.
Is that a cemetery plot…
not thin, INEXISTANT!

the very first installment of ❝ Jon ❞ appears in the Pendleton Post

it is not dissimilar to the first Garfield strip, which followed two-and-a-half years later https://www.gocomics.com/garfield/1978/06/19
I’m going to miss Garfield when Jim Davis passes away.
Ah Garfield, Hollywood has built film trilogies on less plot than that
They call it a pilot because it goes on the air first
