Morning is always so far away! Especially when some good boys and girls have great things coming their way!

I got first place all around in my gymnastics meet

Ok, the only way to cure this, is to run around like bat crazy, and yowl at the top of our lungs!

Lupin has quite a dreamy look on his face in panel 3. My best friend moved to my neighborhood when I was three. I can’t remember much of the anticipation, but the 7 years afterward were pretty great.

Should have stayed up and read a book/watched a movie, guys. Much better way of passing the time until something exciting happens.

I can hardly wait! Why can’t time go faster?!

I’ve been where they are. Where you just can’t sleep. It’s also adorable. But i’m glad this is finally happening.. and i’m curious what the kittens will think of their new neighbors as they haven’t gotten to meet sophie and tommy yet.

Off Topic: On my blog i’ve begun my retrospective on this very strip! It’s something i’ve wanted to do since binging it last year and thanks to a friend I got to early. When you can’t sleep, it’s usually best to race around like a maniac making lots and lots of noise.

I have decided to go back and read BCN from the start (again), but this time, I am also reading the all the comments as well (just read the comic the last time I re read). I can imagine this taking me quite a long time! But I will hopefully get to know some of the orb better, and meet those that passed prior to my original appearance here (five years ago???) I imagine at some point I will find when I first posted at least, if not when I started reading. It’s a dirty job, but somebody has to do it! I think it will be fun! I will, of course, still be reading the new ones and comments every day as well. Would be nice to retire completely from everything and just live in the Orb every day.

Hard to imagine cats being unable to sleep. OT, but important, it’s MLK day. Here’s to my boyhood hero. I was 20 when he was assassinated.

OT: Power failure

Poor Sophie, her current window is way up high and she has a birds eye view for dreaming of art. Now she will be on the ground floor, looking up and wondering.

I can relate. There were a few years in my teens where I literally couldn’t sleep the night before Christmas, Easter, or Thanksgiving until I climbed under the mattress. There was always a dinner with the extended family and I’d get so excited I had difficulty getting to sleep. So after tossing and turning I climbed under the matress. At some point I’d climb back out from under the matress, but the only way I could sleep was between it and the box.
