You’re a plugger when your shovel and shoulder are no longer in agreement. And your knees are hard to please.

Texans at the present moment would agree with winter not being fun.

My knees, hips, and shoulder have not been on speaking terms with the shovel for the last 3 winters!

This has been a strange season for my area on this blue marble . Plowing and shoveling have not been needed …. Yet ;-)

Can you be a part-time plugger?

Sometimes winter is fun. And sometimes it’s not.

When was winter EVER fun ? Not one in my lifetime (75+ years) — sure there were times that were fun but not winter as a whole ! ! !

Winter is a blast! All forms of skiing, skating, curling, toboggans & sleighs. Even driving can be more fun if you disable the traction control – drifting without tire wear; and every stop light can be a drag strip, without arousing the constabulary.

Last time I had fun in the snow as an adult was driving my jeep around sedans stuck in the snow.

As I got older, I got less tolerant of the cold and thus enjoy it less. Also, the onset of arthritis adds to the misery.

Thank you, was worried that I might be a plugger but guess not yet. I look forward to evey snowstorm and am disappointed when the weather man promises us 15 cm (6 inches) and we get a skiff.

I have lived in Idaho, Wyoming, Chicago, Cleveland. . . . I’m a slow learner. Finally I retired and moved to San Diego. I chose here over Florida because I don’t care what they say, Palmetto Bugs are 2 in flying cockroaches!!! They don’t exist in San Diego.

In that case, I’ve been a Plugger since my family moved from sunny SoCal to the northeast when I was in my teens…

You’re a plugger when you shovel a path to the mailbox to get the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.

I still like a good packing snow, so I can throw snowballs at my neighbors. It’s my way of acknowledging their kindness, as they snow blow my sidewalk and driveway. I may be a plugger, by the kid in me still sneaks out once in a while.

Also a plugger when your wife has to do most of the shoveling – and you and wife are only shoveling snow as cannot find anyone to come and do so for you.

I like winter and cold snow until the day after New Year’s, then I want it gone.
