Great Snow in the footseps of another great one, Charlie Chaplin, who let us know: “We think too much and feel too little. More than machinery, we need humanity; more than cleverness, we need kindness and gentleness. Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost.”
In the old days this would be a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup commercial but Snow is right in that those qualities such as care and compassion seem to have paled a bit since people spend more time communicating on social media than face to face. You know something is wrong at the dinner table if you have to send a text, Line or WhatsApp to get someone to hand you the Tabasco sauce. Great observation Snow, truth is not digital.
As always, Snow is right. Wisdom comes from looking outside yourself, appreciating the world and people around you, and recognizing what (other than that stupid phone) is right in front of you.
I’m going to disagree. Most people “feel” more than they think, and the media caters to this. Snow is, however, still correct. For too many people, the brain is just a big, ductless gland filled with useless junk. Real thought involves both rationality and emotion, in balance.
I took the cotton out of my ears and stuffed it in my mouth. Listening more and talking less is serving me well. I’m also loving that every day is a Snow day these days. Thanks Snow and Miss T!

Using your head is one thing. How you use it is another story.

Remember what the Snow cat said:
Troubles a-“head” use your heart instead!

I keep wondering- why am I the one who has to watch where I’m going? Why aren’t you watching for yourself?

Typical after Christmas behavior … seems like a new mobile phone is like a lollypop for people.

You need information to find the truth. It’s how you process the information that counts.
