I use to do that a lot when I was a parent, and I hated it!
Nope. Hubs had to be up at 5am & out the door by 6:15. So that was never one of our school days problems…howsomever…getting the progeny OUT of BED, required a derrick (& several cups of strong coffee for me).
Everybody’s working for the weekend.
Only until the volume gets turned up on the cartoons.
When a snow storm cancels school the night before and you still wake up at the normal time… and then smile and say “oh yeah, right!”.
