Seemingly, Payne played football without wearing a helmet … that, or he had a ‘summer job’ as a crash-test dummy…

What crap! But, just what you’d expect from a Repub toonist, I guess. But the Pelosi House was very well run, and she didn’t lose the speaker seat since she already knew where her votes were. But, this toon is just the sort of lying that we’ve come to expect from the Repub press. In reality, it is the Repubs in the House that blew out the House’s foundations and broke the windows and doors.

‘Get a grip’: WSJ editor warns the GOP they are about to descend into a frenzy of ‘self-mutilation’

After watching House Republicans squabble and almost come to blows over the selection of a new speaker after taking control of the chamber in the midterms, the former editor-in-chief of the Wall Street Journal expressed his disgust with the state of the GOP in a blistering column. Former editor-in-chief Gerard Baker started off by praising the stellar job former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) did with her own caucus and contrasted that with last week’s chaos over a simple leadership vote that was televised by C-SPAN in all of its embarrassing glory.

Republicans turned off the C span cameras and closed the ethics rules.

None of the problems the chaotic republicans had as they picked a weak speaker ever happened under strong Pelosi.

The first legislation passed by the last democrats House was HR1 a the John Lewis voting rights act, the first legislation passed by these republicans defunded the IRS and neutered the Office of Congressional Ethics.

I have liked a lot of the laws the House has passed the last two years. Kevin McKarthys first law was stupid though.

This ‘toon is so at divergence with reality that even “moronic” would place an absurdly high value upon it — and its creator.

Oh, my, what a lie. This version of the House is 100% on the Republicans. Or didn’t you see the Democrats unified?

How did Pelosi leave the house a wreck? It seems like the incoming 118th started the drive over the cliff?
