A choir kitty!

Oh, peachy! Now Batiuk has imported Harry L. Dinkle, TWGBD, for some Ohio-based music education shenanigans that will appeal to roughly 0.00001% of the C’Shaft reading public. This week should be a knee-slapper.

Also, why would a church choir be invited to perform at a music educators conference? Wouldn’t bringing in a local school’s choir or glee club make more sense?

Also also, we just had a “let’s raise money for new choir robes” arc for Lillian the Lizard and her St. Spires crew over in “Winkerbean” in May of 2021. What exactly are these gals doing in their robes that the current ones wore out in less than two years?

Don’t forget to bring the kitty!

The Ohio Music Educator’s Association Professional Development Conference is the third largest music conference in the United states and has nearly 300 sessions. I can’t imagine why they would invite a retired member and his choir of old ladies to perform, but they’d better hurry up with that fund raising because the conference is usually held in early February

Does the kitty sing along?

Lil, with the money you got from that sale of the Black Raven no.1, you can at least jump start the fund raising for the new choir robes

Wait’ll they hit the Grand Ole Opry!!

Now we have an excuse to add one-armed Becky the Bandleader to the cast, since Harry will of course seek her out at the conference. The entire Winkerbean cast will soon be major players herein, so why did Baiuk bother shutting that strip down?

So ten years in the future, Lillian is going to come back and try to sell Ed some crap.

The choir turkeys will soon be selling choir turkeys.
