Good to see Marcie, wish Charles had moved spots and sat next to her instead. Also Peppermint Patty does have good penmanship.

She knows what she’s writing. She won’t create a disterbence, but isn’t making any promises about a disturbance.

Patty doesn’t deserve a friend like Marcie, or Charlie, for that matter. She needs to spend a little more time working on her personal relationships and less on her sports coaching. But, that probably won’t happen any time soon.

I’ve read that schools don’t teach cursive in schools anymore. If that’s true, how do people write their signature on a legal document, or even a check?

One of my favorite all-time PEANUTS arcs is when Marcie,tired of the pressure of being a “perfect student”,walked into Charlie Brown’s house and collapsed on the couch.

She said she wanted to go someplace where she was allowed to be “average”.

And Sally yells—“If she’s looking for average she’s come to the right place!”

Marcie seem to be sophisticated.

I remember in grammar school, we had a Teacher that said if you don’t know how to spell a word, look it up in the dictionary ….. of course I had to ask …. how do I look it up if I don’t know how to spell it in the first place ……. never got an answer but did get detention …….. one of those, “NOT” so good memories …………. :)

Disterbence is the past tense of disturbance…

Figures Peppermint Patty would make a mistake with a school punishment.
