Awwww, well Buckles, how are you going to keep growling when she does that? Reminds me of when we got our first kitten. We had this old Poodle and he hated cats. We got a little calico kitten and named her Shanna. When we brought Shanna home and introduced to her to Smokey he had the same reaction as Buckles. She just snuggled with him and made him her surrogate mother. He’d look at us like “Save me!” We’d just laugh and he finally resigned himself.

Did you really thought you could win, Buckles? That’s kittens for you…

Aww Buckles. You were so set on not liking kitty, that now I think you’ll adore her.

Just as long as the kitten doesn’t try to eat Buckle’s food, or vice versa.

A little poem I wrote after we got our third cat ;]

Kitten. Just like puppy, there is no defense.

Buckles is always trying to be the alpha dog, but is always reminded he’s a softie.

Buckles reminds me of my Jayna!! When she saw for the first time our she-cat, she was “GRRRRRR”, then after a “PURRRRRR” from the cat, she licked her noze!! Since then, they are like sisters!!

In the Jungle the peaceful Jungle, the kitten purrs tonight.

In the kitchen the growling Buckles is calmed by purring kit.

Wee oh wee oh wee oh wee oh wee oh way oh way

Soon Buckles will be like Fred Basset and his kitty.

Resistance is futile, Buckles.

My dog is missing my cat. He has taken his place under the table.. They always get along.. might take a while but they will.

Told ya Buckles…the kitten is going to make you fall in love and then you’re going to be broken hearted when the owner shows up.

Now Buckles …… that “ISN’T” so bad …… is it …………. :)
