Asimov wrote a story about how people forgot how to do math since the machines did it for them and someone rediscovered it. I wonder if spoken language will be like that some time in the future.
With so much text speak used these days – not to mention emojis taking over actual words or even sentences, it is noted that spelling and grammar is going downhill rapidly.
Does anyone else still actually write anymore (besides me)? I remember that was how my mother discovered I’m left-handed. She picked up her jaw and ran to the kitchen, screaming “She’s left-handed!”
