I hope Kevin stays smart, and grows up to be a doctor. He might be able to develop a treatment for that burn.

Donna, the other friend is Carla. But the point is that Miles should be a good friend to Kevin and stop trying to feel superior to him.

Miles should have said “hypothetical” friends.

A local kiddie show host, used to end his show with,“You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can’t fool MOM.” (Yes I know it was a play on an Abe Lincoln quote.)

Wise Mom’s can always see through the “some other kids” story.

Just own up to it. Don’t say “I have this friend”
