If I’m in a store wanting to buy a TV, I don’t even consider it if there is no remote available. TVs are always setup for saturated colours so that they are punchy in the shops. That’s not how I’ll be watching it at home, I want proper natural colours not crazy ones. I want to assess what it will look like when I get it home.Have you noticed though that the TV always looks so much smaller in the shop than when you get it home. Ooohh, that 40 inch set looks way to small for my living room. If you got it home, you’d find half your wall has gone.

In a couple of hours, he will figure out that the remote is for his home TV and doesn’t work for the ones in the store. :-)

Personally, I enjoy shopping as much as my wife. Nothing says you have to stay together!
