Looking back, most of the people who expected me to act normal were a bunch of loons.

by the way, kids, i was telling a friend about a funny strip here and mentioned that the ads are kind of annoying, which i had lived with, but i know maybe they wouldnt want to deal with. lol. and then i realised “hey! i bet it is not too expensive to sign up and make those ads go away!” so i signed up and wow IT ONLY COSTS $20 A YEAR and o m g now when i click ‘my comics’ i get this aMAZing page with all of them already open and easy to read in a vertical queue. lol it is possible that a few months down the line here i won’t be able to afford $20 year subscription but today i was able to!

How about a warm, heapin’ bowl full of Loosner’s™ castor oil flakes?! It doesn’t just wash the mouth out. It cleans the whole system, right on down the line!

I’d settle for a 3 kilometer walk on a treadmill.

I’m working back up to 5 K after COVID, but 10 miles … never!

When I was growing up, I used to think my parents were common, ordinary people. Then I found out how uncommon and extraordinary they were.

Hedonism — the ethical theory that pleasure (in the sense of the satisfaction of desires) is the highest good and the proper aim of human life.

Normality is just laziness. It takes much more energy to be weird

I used to ride my motorcycle in the snow (Kawasaki KLR250 with Anlas snow tires). I was amazing – l loved it. Mountain trails were awesome.

Sadly, many schools and other “influences” are trying to take “normal” out of the hands of parents.

Ah, up at 6:00. A 1 hour drive to the reservoir to meet my buddies. Then all day ice fishing. I love retirement.

Normality, just like sanity, is majority opinion. Somewhere in the world there’s a place where they put you in a room if you don’t hear the voices.
