I looked it up. He’s right on both counts. There’s nothing wrong with having the soup for lunch followed by the nuts for dessert.

Good thing it isn’t National Flush Toilet Day.

My work always starts with the announcement of an inane holiday. It’s a signal that it’s going to be another crummy day where everyone pretends to be happy.

The clam chowder I had at Legal Seafood here in Boston was delicious. It also was the perfect meal for a bitter cold day.

Brewster is right up there with the old joke about the blonde who brings her lunch in a thermos to work, and proudly brags about how it keeps hot foods hot and cold foods cold. Her co-worker asks, “So what did you bring today?”

She replies, “Soup and ice cream.”

Clam Chowder with chocolate covered nuts in it? I’d eat it.
