Typical cop in #3. My dad and his partner broke up a still operation, but kept the moonshine to share between them. I think (and told my Dad) that they are just crooks in uniform themselves and put a double standard on the public. He just looked at me and walked out of the room.

1∾ It was nice of those guys to dispose of that junk responsibly.

2∾ It used to have been said that the safest place was in bed. Just not Bozo’s bed!

3∾ Bozann, do your civic duty and make a choice. Bozo or the the dirty rotten flatfoot.

What really good detail in all three strips today, especially in Bozo’s bed collapse!

There are still a few good law enforcement officer around. Remember corruption often exist at top and works it’s way down.

Looks like these thieves didn’t case the joint thoroughly. They would have realized Bozo was poor!

Bozo defies the Jinx day but soon catches up with him when least expected! ☺️

ROBBED- Bozo is like me, “Anybody that steals from me is getting pretty much broken objects and trash.” FRIDAY THE 13th- Again Bozo is like me, sometimes Friday 13th is my semi “Lucky Day” till I press my luck. PICKING FLOWERS- Ole Buttons has an alternative motive on arresting Bozo for stealing the Park’s Flowers, he picks the lovely Bozann.

3. Waste not want not.

1) The crooks should realize that there’s nothing in Bozo’s place worth stealing.

2) Bozo spends Friday the 13th defying the superstitions, but presses his luck once too often and gets whammyed at the end.

3) At least the cop isn’t letting the evidence go to waste.

1. Bozo saves money by not having to pay to haul his junk away.

2. Bozo, be careful what you wish for, you may get it!

3. Cop removing the competition.

For those who come in late, these fabulous fun funnies was envisioned and executed so brilliantly by FoXo Reardon, a true master cartoonist who told his funny tales with his awesome artwork alone, without any of his characters in BOZO ever saying a single word.

An especially excellent epitome of pictures speaking thousand words, BOZO also the most pleasant picturesque pantomime where every panel is like a photograph of a three-dimensional cartoon world of realistic-looking depths and details. Such was his powerful perspective artwork which brought to life a lovely lively world of BOZO!

FoXo a rare combination of both sharp wits and artistic talents which is rarely seen together in the same cartoonist, a true master and professional cartoonist whose work quality speaks for itself and as you can see for yourself BOZO is pure gold coming from a golden era of cartooning! So no wonder that these wonderful wordless wonders still bring great joy and sheer cheer to many even today.

But despite being a great classic of great creative calibre, neither BOZO nor FoXo are much known or remembered these days.

What one learns from reading comic stripes! Great comments today, as usual.

When Dad first became syndicated with Bozo (Chicago Sun-Times Syndicate), he was quoted in a newspaper article as saying, “If I can bring a smile a day, I will be happy.” So the purpose of Bozo is to bring that daily smile, and, hopefully, an occasional belly laugh. With that is mind, I hope that followers will continue to refrain from political or controversial comments. (Editorial cartooning is the place for that if need be). You have done a great job in that regard thus far. No doubt Dad would say “thanks” and “keep smiling.”

1) DARK ACTION: Bozo gets robbed on the ground floor by 2 night robbers. What they come away with is anything but loot. Bozo is a smart cookie here.

2) DARK DAY; Friday the 13th doesn’t scare Bozo who isn’t superstitious in the least. He does everything forbidden and none of them blow back on him. Then at night the ceiling falls on him!

3) POLICE ACTION: Bozo takes flowers from a city bed and is nabbed by an ever-present police officer. The officer takes the flowers to Bozann himself!
