3. Long arm of law meets long arm of lady justice.
…
For those who come in late, these fabulous fun funnies was envisioned and executed so brilliantly by FoXo Reardon, a true master cartoonist who told his funny tales with his awesome artwork alone, without any of his characters in BOZO ever saying a single word.
An especially excellent epitome of pictures speaking thousand words, BOZO also the most pleasant picturesque pantomime where every panel is like a photograph of a three-dimensional cartoon world of realistic-looking depths and details. Such was his powerful perspective artwork which brought to life a lovely lively world of BOZO!
FoXo a rare combination of both sharp wits and artistic talents which is rarely seen together in the same cartoonist, a true master and professional cartoonist whose work quality speaks for itself and as you can see for yourself BOZO is pure gold coming from a golden era of cartooning! More about FoXo and BOZO in the About page.
So no wonder that these wonderful wordless wonders still bring great joy and sheer cheer to many even today.
But despite being a great classic of great creative calibre, neither BOZO nor FoXo are much known or remembered these days.
Spread the word, friends, so that BOZO can spread more joy and cheer to many many more!
…
And yes, yes of course another big thumbs up, big applause, and three cheers once again for the marvellous master FoXo’s magnificent masterpiece, the most pleasant picturesque pantomime, the ever entertaining ever energetic ever enjoyable ever excellent evergreen entertainer, the brilliantly beautiful and beautifully brilliant BOZO!
And yes of course many thanks to Micheal Reardon for bringing BOZO back for us all!
PLEASE- Ah Love…just so hard to resist Bozo. A GENTLEMAN- Ah Love Again…so hard to resist Bozo! CAUGHT- Ah Ole Buttons got set up for a rolling pin “WAP!”
1) CAN I ? : Bozo begs and begs the statuesque blond to help. Bozann gives in and gives him $1 bill and off he goes happy as a lark!
2) LADY’S FIRST: A small pool of water in the street. Bozo ever the gentlemen offers her to go first. She is seen carrying the diminutive hero everyman over it.
3) CONFUSE-A-PERSON: Naughty evil Zoot er…Bozo under the Imp-of-the-Perverse steals a newly made pie cooling on a windowsill. A cop quick of eye and foot rescues it bops Bozo one and returns it untouched to the angry home maker. She starts giving the cop the rolling pin concerto on his noggin! [The pie flies and Bozo catches it. He wins!]
strip #3- ‘caught’ is chock full of classic-ness. For starters, the pie cooling on the window ledge (when’s the last time you saw that?-my Great-grandma is the only time I remember seeing that.) Second, the wooden box(milk crate?) not a cardboard box- Bozo is standing on. Third classic-ness, a foot pursuit w/baton waving cop, with a Bozo dust cloud. Fourthly, Bozann’s dashed arrow vision finding missing pie. Also, the “x” eyes on cop, the stars, and rolling pin Bozann has for a noggin knocker.

1) Still probably less pleading than Bozo would have to do at the bank for a loan.
2) That’s not quite what Bozo had in mind!
3) Well, don’t just sit there, Bozo, catch the pie before it hits the ground!

1) Was he begging for money — or for something else, and she finally paid him to leave her alone?
2) A modern woman (although she looks a little annoyed) who doesn’t wait around for man to rescue her?
3) Hope Bozo ran over and caught the pie before it hit the ground — then he can return it and be rewarded with a slice for his good deed.
