Notice the “Suicide” doors on that car. When I was 3yo I fell against the back door handle of a car like that, and I fell out as the door opened. I ended up in the ditch, bloodied and afraid I would be left so I started running after the car until my mother realized what happened and stopped. Off to the hospital we went. Fun times.
2 – As a historical matter, dueling often went bloodless, as the simple act of ‘throwing down the gauntlet’ to challenge someone and two men facing each other across a field with pistols in hand was seen as sufficient, and each man would shoot into the air, essentially giving up their claim for vengeance.
In such cases, the matter was considered resolved, honorably.
“The duel was based on a code of honor. Duels were fought not so much to kill the opponent as to gain “satisfaction”, that is, to restore one’s honor by demonstrating a willingness to risk one’s life for it. As such, the tradition of dueling was originally reserved for the male members of nobility; however, in the modern era, it extended to those of the upper classes more generally."
UPPER BERTH- Finally Our Hero uses Brain over Brawn by letting someone else do the work. WINNER TAKE ALL- I might have enjoyed HAMILTON more if they had a Duck come falling down sort of like GROUCHO MARX used to have on YO BET YOUR LIFE. “Say The Secret Word And Win A Prize!” (I know I am Uncouth.) PERFECT WITNESS- Well our Hero makes a fairly good Paramedic, but Bozo could be sued for carrying a victim to Lawyer Isueem along with Mr. Snoot Bigbuck’s driver.
2. Duck season or wabbit season? Argument ends in a duel. See, me tolds you it was duck season. WHAM!
3. Why of course this a legal case. But not he has to files a report in police station first?

For those who come in late, these fabulous fun funnies was envisioned and executed so brilliantly by FoXo Reardon, a true master cartoonist who told his funny tales with his awesome artwork alone, without any of his characters in BOZO ever saying a single word.
An especially excellent epitome of pictures speaking thousand words, BOZO also the most pleasant picturesque pantomime where every panel is like a photograph of a three-dimensional cartoon world of realistic-looking depths and details. Such was his powerful perspective artwork which brought to life a lovely lively world of BOZO!
FoXo a rare combination of both sharp wits and artistic talents which is rarely seen together in the same cartoonist, a true master and professional cartoonist whose work quality speaks for itself and as you can see for yourself BOZO is pure gold coming from a golden era of cartooning! More about FoXo and BOZO in the About page.
So no wonder that these wonderful wordless wonders still bring great joy and sheer cheer to many even today.
But despite being a great classic of great creative calibre, neither BOZO nor FoXo are much known or remembered these days.
Spread the word, friends, so that BOZO can spread more joy and cheer to many many more!
…
And yes, yes of course another big thumbs up, big applause, and three cheers once again for the marvellous master FoXo’s magnificent masterpiece, the most pleasant picturesque pantomime, the ever entertaining ever energetic ever enjoyable ever excellent evergreen entertainer, the brilliantly beautiful and beautifully brilliant BOZO!
And yes of course many thanks to Micheal Reardon for bringing BOZO back for us all!
Dinkytown is an actual place, a small business and residential neighborhood abutting the University of Minnesota Minneapolis East Bank Campus. A railroad used to run in a sort of ravine between the two, if memory serves (which it may not), but you couldn’t disembark there. There must have been streetcar service through the neighborhood itself, of course.
1) BERTH OF A PERFECT PLACE: Bozo needs to get on the train and overloaded with luggage. A gentleman helps him while Bozo rides in his hat!
2) WHO GETS THE TARGET?: Bozo and another man fire their weapons simultaneously at a duck and the duck falls. A fight ensues over ownership!
3) LEGAL FIRST THEN MEDICAL: Bozo sees a car hit a man and drive off. He memorizes the license plate then helps the man to his lawyer instead off the emergency room!

I find strip #3 to be a star-spangled masterpiece with 18 stars! Each of the four panels is lit up with various numbers of five-pointed stars!
Panel #1 – five 5-pointed stars.
Panel #2 – six five 5-pointed stars.
Panel #3 – sports three 5-pointed stars.
Panel #4 – sports four 5-pointed stars.

1) Dinkytown doesn’t have taxis, so Bozo hitches up with a local to walk him to the hotel!
2) The big guy forget to “duck” Bozo’s right hand before trying to pick up dinner!
3) Bozo hopes Mr. Sueem will give him a portion of his fee from the settlement!

How many years did it take for the luggage cart to be invented? I see many old comics and photos that seem to indicate it wasn’t that long ago.
